Dear Haley Family,

My heart and prayers are with you during this most difficult time. The loss of a child is something no parent should every have to endure.

I am sad that I did not know your son personally. My Marine is stationed at the same base Cody was. We quickly become a family when our loved ones make the choice to serve. My son, too, has many brothers, therefore I have many sons. You are part of my family and your son will never be forgotten. There are no words I can say that will comfort you right now. Please know that you are not alone, you are loved, you have a huge family that is here for you. Please take comfort in your wonderful memories of your beautiful son, gone too soon but never forgotten. Semper Fi. Semper Familia.

Love,
Bobbie Pomeroy
