William Zeeb

William E. Zeeb, 87, of Iowa Falls , formerly of Eldora, died on Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at the Scenic Manor in Iowa Falls . Funeral services will be at 11:00 am on Saturday, July 3, 2010 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Iowa Falls with Pastor Paul Beisel officiating. Burial will follow at 1:30 pm in the Eldora City Cemetery . Visitation will be at the church one hour prior to the services. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Creps-Abels Funeral Home in Eldora.

William “Bill” was born October 1, 1922, in Papillion , Nebraska , son of William Sr. and Amanda (Hauschild) Zeeb. On February 25, 1947 Bill was united in marriage to Leillia Marie Burns in Papillion. Bill and Leillia moved to the Eldora area in 1952. He was employed as a janitor for the Eldora High School for 23 years and he had also worked as a farm hand. Bill was a long time member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Eldora and was currently a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Iowa Falls . He enjoyed gardening, walking, riding his moped, and was an avid professional wrestling fan.

He is survived by his wife, Leillia; daughters, Imogene “Jean” Neubauer and her husband Laurence of Alden, Iowa and Gloria Jorgensen and her husband Vance of Iowa Falls; sisters, Elizabeth Wilms of Papillion and Bernice Davis of Falls City, Nebraska; grandchildren, Shane (Tracy) Kienzle, Angela Kienzle, Timothy Jorgensen and Jessica Jorgensen, and great-grandchildren, Logan and Dakota Kienzle. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Albert, Louie, and Henry Zeeb; and sisters, Carrie Nielsen, Lena Koke, Lillian Hayes and Frieda Godsey.
