Twylah Dawne Hill

Twylah “Ty” Dawne Hill, 66, of Stout, passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2024, at Grundy County Memorial Hospital. A celebration of life will be held later in May; service details will be posted when they are confirmed. In lieu of flowers and cards, memorials may be directed to a charity of your choice in Ty's memory. 

Ty was born May 3, 1957, to Ed and Ruth Bolton in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. On May 5, 1995, she was united in marriage to John Hill in Milwaukee.  

Ty enjoyed spending time outdoors and decorating her yard. She was a motorcycle enthusiast. Ty loved hard and lived life by her own rules; she will be deeply missed. 

Ty is survived by her children, Bob Dennis, Jack (Melissa) Dennis, Erick Hill, and Joey (Heather) Hill; sister Darllah (Mike) Simmons; brother Dion Bolton; sister-in-law Debbie Bolton; 12 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and many other friends and family. She was preceded in death by her parents Ed and Ruth Bolton, husband John Hill, sister Tanjilah Bolton, and brother Derrik Bolton. 

The family would like to extend a special thank-you to the staff at UnityPoint Hospice and Grundy County Memorial Hospital, especially nurse Trista and volunteer Barb, for their care and compassion during this difficult time.
