Ruth Wagoner

Ruth Levere Wagoner, 99, of Grundy Center, Iowa, passed away on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at the Grundy County Memorial Hospital Long Term Care Unit. Services and interment are private. Memorials may be directed to the family. Engelkes-Abels Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Ruth was born on January 8, 1919 in Wellsburg, Iowa to her parents John and Lena (Claassen) Fisher. She was a loving mother and homemaker to her family.

Ruth is survived by her 3 daughters, Shirley (Jim) Neessen of Grundy Center, Betty Wagoner and Mary Wagoner; 3 grandchildren: Troy Neessen of Des Moines, IA and Alexi & Eric Ziesman and one great-grandchild: MacKenzie Klemme of Ames, IA.
