Lois Knaack

Lois Knaack, 99, of Reinbeck, Iowa, passed away on August 6, 2025, at Parkview Manor in Reinbeck, Iowa. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at the Reinbeck Community Church in Reinbeck. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will take place at the Lincoln Township Cemetery. A luncheon and time for fellowship will be held back at the church after the burial.

Lois married the love of her life, Virgil Knaack, on February 18, 1945. She loved spending many years on the farm with him. She also spent 32 years working at Parkview Manor as a nurse aide and cook, and was an active member of the Methodist Church and Eastern Star. Family was the heart of Lois’s life. A devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she found her greatest joy in time spent with loved ones. Her warmth and kindness touched everyone she met. Lois was known for always having fresh baked sweets ready to share. And when the baking stopped, she handed out Hershey's Kisses instead—always making sure no one left without a little love and with her signature "Bless your heart".

She is survived by her sons, James and Terry Knaack . 2 grandsons Casey (Michele) Knaack and Tony Knaack; and great-grandchildren Madison, Casey, Cael, Anthony, and Mai Knaack. Her sister in laws Lois Conradi, Nancy Jungling, Ardis Conradi and several nieces and nephew.

Lois is preceded in passing by her parents Neal and Tena Conradi, her beloved husband Virgil and her three brothers Vernon, Merle and Melvin Conradi.
