Jvonne Moeller

Jvonne Moeller, 94, of Holland, Iowa, passed away peacefully at Creekside in Grundy Center, Iowa, on Friday, July 11, 2025. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at Bethany Presbyterian Church in Grundy Center. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will take place at the Holland Cemetery in Holland. Memorials may be directed to the family. 

Jvonne Dorothy (Franken) Moeller of Grundy Center passed away on July 11, 2025. She was the only child of Jake and Tena (Dirks) Franken. Jvonne attended country school at Colfax #5 and graduated with the class of 1948, from Grundy Center. Upon graduation she immediately went to work for Farmers Savings Bank. She worked at the bank until 1951, when she took time to raise her two sons. She returned to the bank in 1963, and worked there until her retirement in the early 1980’s.

Jvonne met her husband, Leon Moeller, at the Black Hawk Rollerdome in Cedar Falls. They were married on January 6, 1950, and into this union were two sons, James and Jerry. Leon and Jvonne moved to the Franken family farm in 1951, when Leon started farming. Jvonne loved spending time at Lake City, MN, fishing and driving the boat for the boys so they could water ski. She enjoyed watching school activities and other activities of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Jvonne is survived by her sons; James (Deanna) and Jerry (Glenda), five grandchildren; Bryan (Megan), Kevin (Ashley), Michael, Lance (Brianna), Jennifer (Ben Pruss) and eleven great grandchildren; Savannah, Addison, Logan, Kenzie, Mitchell, Weston, Reese, Blakely, Collins, Ella & Noah.
