Gloria Jane Owings

Gloria Jane Owings, 68, of Conrad, Iowa passed away on Friday, November 24, 2023, at the University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City, Iowa. No services will be held at the present time.

Gloria was born on September 11, 1955, in Marshalltown, Iowa to her parents Robert and Fern (Rumbaugh) Richeson. She graduated from West Marshall High School in the class of 1973. She later attended college and became a nurse’s assistant. She was united in marriage to Richard Owings on August 15, 1995. Gloria was an independent lady who had a powerful personality and will be missed and remembered.

Gloria Owings is survived by her stepchildren Thomas (Terri) Owings of Wichita, Kansas, and Marsha (Devin) Kirschman of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; step-grandchildren Christian Owings, Savannah Owings, Essence Owings, Jade Owings, Tawny Askins, Daine (Kaitlin) Thompson, Cedric Kirschman and Christopher Kirschman; step-great-grandchildren Eden, Givonni, Grome, Tyshawn, Messiah, and Cooper. She was preceded in death by her parents.
