Donna Mae (Harms) Lage

Donna was the daughter of Raymond and Dena (Gieken) Harms. Donna was born on January 21, 1957 and entered her eternal home on January 27, 2023.

Donna attended the Wellsburg Community school and graduated with the class of 1975. In 1977 she was united in marriage to Lynn DeBoer. At this time they made their home in Wellsburg. Donna and Lynn each had their own BMW motorcycles and enjoyed traveling around the country. They later divorced. In 1994 Donna was married to Russell Lage and they made their home in Holland, IA. Donna worked at Dodger in Eldora, IA. Later she worked at Plastronics in Grundy Center and in 2019 she retired from Richelieu. Donna worked hard at her job and made many lifelong friends. 

Donna and Russ enjoyed traveling in her 1964 Chevy Chevelle. She enjoyed researching Genealogy and wood crafting from various woods. 

Donna loved visits from her stepchildren and step grandchildren. 

Preceding her in death were her parents, Raymond and Dena Harms, brothers, Arnold and Alan Harms, sister, Janice Beeghly, sisters in law, Sandra Harms and Kim Harms.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Russell, stepdaughter, Dawn (Darren) Diehl, stepson, Blain (Terra) Lage, step grandchildren, Samuel and Cade Diehl, Jackson, Sydney, Mason and Gavin Lage, Brothers, Kenny, Vern and David Harms, sister, Karen Sienknecht (Doug), brother in law, Roger Beeghly and sisters in law, Sandra Harms and Audrey Harms.

A graveside service will be held for Donna will be held Saturday, April 8, 2023, at 10:30 a.m. at Maple Hill Cemetery, located North of Gladbrook. A luncheon will follow the burial at Salem Church of Lincoln.
