Belinda L. Manning, 48, of Eldora, passed away on Thursday, September 2, 2010 at the Israel Family Hospice House in Ames . Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 7, 2010, 10:00 am at the First Baptist Church in Eldora with Pastor Bobby Shomo officiating. A visitation will be held on Monday, September 6 th from 5 to 8 pm at Creps-Abels Funeral Home in Eldora. Burial will follow funeral services at the Eldora City Cemetery .





Belinda was born on June 19, 1962 in Nevada , IA, the daughter of Merl D. and Jane (Miller) Manning. She was raised in Clemons , Iowa and moved to Eldora in 1978. She graduated from Eldora High School in 1981. Belinda worked as a computer programmer and was most recently employed at Farmers Co-Op in Farnhamville , Iowa .












She was an extremely talented artist who could draw almost anything. She loved to paint, was an excellent cook, loved to fish and was an avid animal lover. Belinda had a big heart and was always there for anyone who needed a helping hand. Most importantly, she loved spending time with her family and her children. Belinda was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Eldora.



Belinda is survived by her mother Jane Manning of Eldora; children Lacey J. Johnson of Eldora and Walker D. Manning of Eldora; 2 grandchildren; brothers Timothy and Merl Manning II of Eldora. She was preceded in death by her father Merl Devur Manning; maternal grandparents Hugh and Flossie Miller and paternal grandparents Verl and Evelyn Manning; a nephew Merl Manning; sister-in-law Lizzy Manning.
