Miriam G. Priske, 90, of Eldora, died at Valley View Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Eldora of natural causes on Saturday, September 22, 2007 while under the care of Amenity Hospice.
Miriam was born September 6, 1917, in Eldora, Iowa, daughter of Edwin and Dessie (Castello) Doud. She attended school in Owasa and graduated from Owasa High School in 1935. On May 15, 1937 Miriam was united in marriage to Harold G. Priske at Iowa Falls Baptist Parsonage in Iowa Falls. Miriam worked in a variety of business in Eldora as a clerk and she retired in 1995.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Eldora. Miriam loved to spend time with her family and friends.
Miriam is survived by her husband, Harold; son, Stanton and his wife Karen of Cedar Rapids; son, Steve and his wife Linda of Eldora; 5 grandsons, and 9 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers Glen, Arthur, and William Doud.
