Lyle Bokholt

January 8, 1914 — September 21, 2006

Lyle was born January 8, 1914 in Millboro, South Dakota, the son of August N. and Velma (Woodruff) Bokholt. He was raised and educated in Millboro where he graduated from Millboro High School. On August 1, 1948, he was united in marriage to Lois Itnyre. Lyle worked as an electrician for Teasedale Electric. He retired in 1976. Lois died on June 24, 2006.

Lyle was an active member of the community serving on the Rose Hill Cemetery Board and as a member of the Oddfellows. Lyle was also a Freemason and a Brother in the El Kahir Shrine, where he served with the Hospital Dads organization.

Lyle is survived by one daughter: Carol and her husband David Winkler of Kingston, Washington, one sister: Edna Jones of McLean, VA, cousin and childhood playmate: Jim Williams of Parkersburg, IA; many nieces and nephews.

Lyle was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Lois; one sister, Josephine Bokholt.
