Lucille M. Saak, 93, of Reinbeck, Iowa

Lucille Saak, 93, of Reinbeck, Iowa, died Saturday, October 13, 2007, at Parkview Manor Nursing Home in Reinbeck. Lucille was born May 1, 1914 in Waterloo, Iowa, the daughter of Harry and Laura (Steward) Hilton. Lucille attended and graduated from West High School in Waterloo, Iowa. Lucille was united in marriage to Forrest Gleason on March 21, 1936 in Waterloo, Iowa. Forrest passed away in July, 1948. Lucille was united in marriage to Vern Saak on October 15, 1950. Vern passed away on July 28, 1977. Lucille enjoyed spending her time quilting with the church group. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grand and great-grand children.

She is survived by her daughter, Judy (Tom) Cooper of Reinbeck, Iowa; three grandsons; Brent (Tiffany) Cooper of West Des Moines, Iowa; Matt (Jenni) Cooper of Reinbeck, Iowa; Chris Cooper and special friend, Brandy Weida of Traer, Iowa; three great- grandchildren; Nathan, Makenna,Haley; a sister, Virginia Dix of Cedar Falls, Iowa; Former step daughter-in-law Geri (Saak) DeVries of Grundy Center; step grandchildren, Bill, Rick,Ron,Terri,Gary; 15 step great grandchildren and 2 step great great grandchildren.

Lucille was preceded in death by her parents: her husbands, Forrest and Vern; sister in infancy; stepson, Larry and six brothers.
