Judy Hein

Judy Hein, 61 of Gladbrook, Iowa, died Friday September 28 2007, at her home under the care of Cedar Valley Hospice. Judy was born October 30, 1945, in Gladbrook, Iowa, the daughter of John and Bernice (Weiben) McGowan. Judy received her education in Dinsdale, graduating with the class of 1963. On May 28, 1966 Judy was united in marriage to Donald Claus Hein at Amity Presbyterian Church rural Reinbeck. Judy and Don lived their married life on the family farm in northern Tama County. Judy was a member of the Peace United Church of Christ in Gladbrook. She was also member of the Legion Auxiliary in Gladbrook. Judy enjoyed the outdoors, traveling, playing cards and attending horse shows. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband; Donald of Gladbrook; two daughters Tracy Hein and her friend Al Hart of Olathe, Kansas; Silkie Weissenburg of Wedel, Germany; one sister Carol Dinsdale of Sumner, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister January Miller.
