Izetta Kuehl, 91, of Grundy Center, Iowa, died Thursday April 30, 2009, at Grundy County Memorial Hospital Long Term Care Unit in Grundy Center, Iowa.
Izetta was born February 6, 1918 near Holland, Iowa the daughter of Eilt and Kate (Eckhoff) Ennenga. Izetta attended country school. On September 3, 1942 she was united in marriage to Hans Kuehl in Bethany, Missouri. The couple farmed until 1988, when they moved to Grundy Center. She was a member of the American Lutheran Church.
She is survived by her two granddaughters: Robyn and Andrea Kuehl of Ames, Iowa; brothers: Don Ennenga of Holland, Iowa, Arnold and his wife Joe Ann Ennenga of Conrad, Iowa; sisters: Esther and her husband Jake Heeren of Grundy Center, Iowa, Mildred and her husband Reggie Thornton of Minneapolis, Minnesota; sister in laws: Grace Ennenga of Grundy Center, Iowa Elaine Ennenga of Grundy Center, Iowa and Freda (Kuehl) Beenken of Grundy Center, Iowa.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband: Hans; a son: James; a grandson: Joel Kuehl; brothers: Willard, Clarence, Dale and LeRoy Ennenga; sisters in law: Johanna, Irene and Marie Ennenga.
