Donna Nott

Donna Nott, 44 of Burnside , Iowa , formerly of Gifford , Iowa , died on Saturday, April 24, 2010 at the Israel Family Hospice House in Ames . Following cremation, memorial services will be at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, April 27, 2010 at Creps-Abels Funeral Home in Eldora with Chaplain Henrietta Klarenbeek of Homeward Hospice officiating. Donna’s family will gather at the funeral home from 5 pm to 8 pm on Monday evening to great friends. Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society, Hope Lodge of Rochester , MN .

Donna was born January 21, 1966 in Cedar Rapids , Iowa , daughter of William P. and Joanna J. (Brunko) Erger. She was raised in Cedar Rapids where she attended Hayes Elementary School then graduated from Wilson High School in 1984. On May 16, 1998 Donna was united in marriage to Jeffrey Allen Nott at Hope Lutheran Church in Cedar Rapids . To this union were born two children, Morgan who is now ten years old and Brandon who is eight.

She lived in Cedar Rapids until moving to Gifford in 1996 and then moved to Burnside in 2002. Donna was employed with Lehigh Valley Credit Union and had also worked for a period at Hy-Vee in Fort Dodge . Donna enjoyed raising her family but also found time for garage sales, camping and shopping.

She is survived by her husband, Jeff; her children, Morgan and Brandon; parents, Bill and Joanna Erger of Princeton , Missouri ; and brother, Chris Erger of Davenport . Preceding her in death was a brother, Michael Lee Erger; and grandparents, Dale and Juanita Brunko and John and Dorothy Erger.
