Dessie L. Hudspith, 91, of Eldora, died at the Elsworth Municipal Hospital in Iowa Falls of natural causes on Friday, January 11, 2008.
Dessie was born August 29, 1916 near New Providence, Iowa, daughter of Howard and Louise (Fredrickson) Clemons. She graduated from New Providence High School. She was married to George Hudspith. They later divorced. Dessie worked for Rockwell Collins in Cedar Rapids in food service. Following a stroke Dessie moved to the Eldora Nursing and Rehab Center were she has spent the last 11 years. Dessie enjoyed reading the newspaper and listening to the radio.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and 2 brothers Warren and Woodrow Clemons.
