Darlys Sue Gula, 65, of New Port Richey, FL, formerly of Reinbeck, IA, died Friday, December 29, 2006, at the Marliere Care Center in New Port Richey, FL.
Darlys was born July 18, 1941, in Buckingham, IA, the daughter of Virgil and LaVera (Petersen) Behrns. She graduated from Traer High School in 1959. She later attended St. Mary?s University in San Antonio, TX and Graduated with a degree in Interior Design. She then attended San Antonio College and graduated with a degree in Engineering Drafting. On March 24, 1964 she was united in marriage to Ronald Gula in Preston, MN. The couple traveled the world and retired to New Port Richey, FL in 2003.
She is survived by her husband: Ronald Gula of New Port Richey, FL; her mother: LaVera Behrns of Traer, IA; a brother: John Behrns of Delhi, IA; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father: Virgil Behrns; and a brother: Stanley Behrns.
