, the daughter of John B. & Martha (Taute) Uden. She attended school at the Christ Lutheran parochial school system in
Prosser

Nebraska
. She later met Lawrence A. Struck and they were united in marriage on January 18, 1942 at the

in Prosser. They made their home in Eldora and born into this union were 3 children. Clara was a member of the

Church
in Eldora, was a member of the Ladies Aid and was a Sunday school teacher for many years. She enjoyed gardening, baking, raising cattle and loved being surrounded by children.
She is survived by her children Thelma “Jeanne” (Rich) Krutz of Roca, NE, Roger (Kathy) Struck of Eldora, IA and Victor (Mary) Struck of Mt. Morris, IL; grandchildren Brian Krutz (fiancée Beth Short), Kristin (Perry) Loostrom, Brad (Lisa) Krutz, Matthew (Crystal) Struck, Martha (Joe) Steding & Kimberly (Jay) Walsh; 13 great-grandchildren & 4 great-great grandchildren; sister Louise Kothe of Juniata, NE & sister-in-law Necia Uden of Nebraska; several nieces and nephews. Clara was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence; her parents; a sister Esther Sheets and brothers Ben & Herb Uden.
