Alice Viola Everts, 86, of Grundy Center, Iowa, died Monday, November 5, 2007, at the Maple Manor Nursing Home in Aplington, Iowa, under the care of Iowa Hospice.
Alice was born September 8, 1921 in Grundy Center, Iowa, the daughter of John and Anna ?Schipper? Everts. Alice grew up and was educated in the Grundy Center area. Alice worked cleaning homes for many families. Alice was also very devoted to taking care of her mother form many years. Alice was a member of the Bethany Presbyterian Church in Grundy Center.
She is survived by 3 sisters ? in ? law: Margaret Everts of New Hartford, Marion Everts of Wellsburg, and Delores and her husband Bob Shivley of Marshalltown, Iowa.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers: George, Fred and Johnny Jr. Everts; one sister: Anna Mae Oltman.
